How to open an account?

Really simple. Just click on the sign up link and register. Once done, you are good to go.

How to add listing?

You will need to login into your account with the login credentials you received when you create the account with Skills242 Marketplace. In your Dashboard, click your profile picture and then select "add listing" from the drop down menu. From there you can either post your listing as a service provider or as a service seeker.

How to upgrade my listing from free to featured?

Log into your account and click your profile picture. Then select "My Listings" from the drop down menu. Find the listing you would like to upgrade and click the button "...More". A new small popup will open giving you the option to change plan. Click and select the plan you want and proceed.

What is featured listing?

A Featured Listing is a simple and cost-effective way to promote your listing in front of the largest audience of active service providers and seekers. Featured Listings receive top placement on our site. They will rotate within the top two spots of relevant search result of our page, meaning, it occurs as a highlight for a certain period of time to generate more interest until your paid period is over.

What are the benefits of being a featured listing?

Your Featured Listing will appear on all of our relevant pages . It will make your business stand out from the rest. Each Featured Listing will have a badge that says "Featured" and it will also appear as "Sponsored" on all relevant articles of our page.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept PayPal payments as well as all major credit cards including Visa, Master card, American Express, Direct Deposit as well as Wire Transfers.

My Business is already listed, how can I Claim it?

First, create an account with Skills242 Marketplace, if you haven't done so already. Log in and search for the listing you are claiming to be yours. Click on Claim Listing button and submit proof of ownership as requested on the form. Please note that there will be a small one time fee payment to claim your listing.

Can I cancel my subscription plan?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription plan anytime you wish and no questions asked.
Just be sure to cancel any automatic renewal subscriptions before the expiration date to avoid being charged by our system.

Do you have a refund policy?

Yes, we do, with some conditions.
At Skills242 Marketplace, Service Providers and Services Seekers can add their listings free of charge for life.
However, with regard to our refund policy on Featured Listings and other services, you will be entitled to a full refund of the money you paid only if the payment made was for a future display of your ad or featured listing, i.e. when the client pays for ads or featured listings today, but the display is scheduled to go online a few days later from the payment date.

No refund policy
– There won’t be any refund for orders you decide to cancel after the payment is made if the ad or featured listing is to go online immediately after the payment is submitted and approved.

But we do encourage you to cancel any automatic renewal subscriptions on time before the expiration date so our system does not charge you. Please visit our Refund Policy Page for more details.
